Our standard 3O3 service includes: • Fault diagnosis and rectification • Replacement of all electrolytic capacitors, including the large smoothing & output capacitors.(Note: The Smoothing and Output capacitors 4700uF, 100V, 105 o C capacitors are fitted on Amplab’s capacitor PCB. This incorporates a safety feature using HT fuses for the Left & Right +HT feeds. In the event of an output short circuit or similar event, a fuse will blow, thus reducing the risk of serious damage & overheating.) • Replacement of all out of tolerance components and all worn or damaged sockets. • Full performance test and adjustment. • We clean and tidy up the case work as standard. For an extra charge, we can strip, prime & re-spray the cover and heat sink to the original’, colours. • Full service report listing all faults found and parts used. • 1 year warranty on all replaced parts and particular faults found. • Finally after a listening test we carry out an 8 hour soak test to intercept faults of an intermittent nature. This is followed by a thorough electrical safety test (PAT). We then check the cover and chassis inside and out and if necessary, revive the appearance.
