Safety check; switch, potentiometer and input socket contact, cleaning, fault diagnosis, replacement of all OT components. This includes replacement of all small signal electrolytic capacitors, smoothing capacitors and output capacitors. The smoothing capacitors are replaced with modern high quality Cornell Dubilier, Nichicon or Epcos 4700uf 100V capacitors. They are smaller in size but superior to the original types. To accommodate them, in some cases, we may use a circuit board mounted over the original capacitor fixing holes. Also sometimes, we replace the 4 rectifiers with a 35A /600V bridge rectifier. This is bolted onto the transformer. Full performance check and adjustment followed by a 24 hour soak test and Electrical Safety Check (PAT). PAT = Portable Appliance Test
